
Responsible for working with consumers in activities of daily living and in the development of self-help and social skills. Responsible for monitoring and implementing goal activity for consumers. Responsible for maintaining a personalized and home-like atmosphere in the facility. Responsible for preparation of meals and for administering medication.Participates in in-service training sessions on a regular basis. Perform other tasks as required.
Requirements: HS diploma/GED required. A valid driver’s license is required. 1-3 years of experience working with the developmentally disabled is preferred. Those who do not have the trainings, such as First Aid/CPR/AED, AMAP, and SCIP, will be required to pass and complete all within the first three months of employment.
